Elevation Burger coming to Hoboken?
Hoboken could soon be best known for it’s burgers, rather than the number of bars, Frank Sinatra or the first baseball game!
Healthy Burger Joint?
On a recent post about Meat and Dairy choices in Hoboken, a newly joined Hoboken411 reader mentioned that a new “healthy” burger joint, Elevation Burger, is slated to come to Hoboken! This on top of Junior’s Papaya, and the new Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant which is filling the old Battaglia’s location.
Elevation Burger, a chain that prides itself on “elevated” customer service, products and employees, offers customers a menu with sophisticated and flavorful heart-friendly ingredients. Elevation Burger cooks their fresh fries in olive oil, offers two kinds of veggie burgers and uses only 100 percent organic, grass fed, free range meat.
Their website says: “Elevation Burger is a quick-casual restaurant with the goal of elevating the food you eat, the way you experience that food, and the people who serve you. We only use 100% ORGANIC, GRASS-FED, FREE RANGE beef. We cook our fresh fries in olive oil and offer veggie burgers and fresh-scooped milk shakes. Everything is made fresh daily.”
Elevation Burger was founded by husband and wife entrepreneurs Hans and April Hess in September 2005. The restaurant has become such a huge success due to its fresh and organic approach to its burgers and its patented fresh fries cooked in olive oil that the company has decided to franchise. Restaurants are 1,500-2,000 square feet and seat 25 to 90 guests with outdoor seating.
No news yet on whether the Hoboken location has been confirmed yet, but investment group “Back Deck LLC” financing the NJ franchises wants to open FIVE locations in the Garden State; in Hoboken, Red Bank, Montclair, Ridgewood, Middletown and Madison. They expect all locations to be open by 2013, and the first one to be complete by early 2009 (hopefully in Hoboken?)
