I doubt there is any direct connection to Geibel on that HH blog. While the person clearly enjoys the redevelopment of his or her neighborhood, they also have a hearty disdain for the Mayor and appreciation for those trying to make things better in city government. That would disqualify HH as a Geibel shill.

They are two different people...there is no connection....
The developer of Metrostop has a boat named "Hoboken Hero", and then there's a blog called "Hoboken Hero" that fawns over Metrostop and talks glowingly of all new development in that neighborhood. That a pretty amazing coincidence, if they're not connected.

Geibel's boat is named "Hoboken Hero." I wish I was making this up, but that really is what he named his boat.

And James Fitzsimmons does not live in subsidized housing, but Captain Anthony "Stick" Romano, owner of Louise & Jerry's and two buildings on Washington Street, does (Marineview Towers). Captain Romano is likely to be our next Freeholder.
What is wrong with the system where we, the taxpayers, are paying to help much-better-off upper middle class families (Romano, Russo, etc.) live in life-long, subsidized housing? Isn't there an upper income limit that kicks you out and into the market-rate housing like the rest of us common folk? Is the only way to get elected in Hoboken via your built-in base of voters living in your subsidized complex? I guess the system is working for them.
Uhh......No. That is why I won't EVER vote for one of these self-interested tools. All they care about is gaming the system for their own benefit.

Sigh. H411, your comments filter really sucks. Why are we barred from posting links to any other Hoboken-related websites?

What I just tried to post, changed to hopefully slip past the filter:

---------------------------

Waaaaait... the developer of Metrostop has a boat named "Hoboken Hero"? And then there's this blog that heaps praise on all the new development in the NW part of town, yet insists they're not a shill for developers?

Hmmm...
