11th Street Trees {gone}

11th Street trees {butchered away}

11th Street between Washington and Willow is one of the very few streets in Hoboken that have a “Canopy” of trees. Now, some of them (between Willow and Park) are gone.

What appears to be about five healthy trees in the center island were just plucked from the earth and carted away this week. And a few residents are shocked and dismayed at this act.

No explanation.

Hoboken is NOT a Tree City.
