Tyson needs a normal home!

6///2008:

A few months ago, a Hoboken411 reader saved one of the dogs I posted about. Due to a job change, this pup needs a new home. Want to help?

Unfortunate change of jobs

“In February 2008 you posted an advertisement asking to save a litter of boxer pups from a kill shelter in Tennessee. I was one of the Hoboken residents who was lucky enough to save these special little guys before they were due to be put to sleep.

In an unfortunate timing, I have been transferred to a department in my business that will require me to travel an extensive amount of time forcing me to board my boxer pup, Tyson. I do not want him to have to deal with the stresses of going back and forth from my attention, to a boarding facility so I have decided to find him a new owner that can give him the attention he deserves.

I am a Hoboken resident and Tyson has become well known in Steven’s Dog Park and Clinton Street Dog park. In addition, he currently attends Doggy Day Care at Hounds on the Hudson in Guttenberg.

I would like to keep him here in Hoboken, if possible, with a new owner and would like to know if you would be so kind as to assist me.”

TYSON is a 6 month old Boxer mix. He was saved from a Kill Shelter 3 months ago by his current owner and now needs a loving family to continue the love and attention he deserves.

Tyson is up-to-date on all vaccinations and required shots (all paperwork available). He is also current with his Heart Worm medications and Flea and Tick medications. He is fixed and recently had his dew claws removed. He is registered in Hoboken, NJ.

He is extremely playful and his demeanor is amazing. He does well with dogs of all breeds and sizes and is extremely receptive to children and adults.

He is house trained, knows his sit, stay, paw, and down commands. Tyson is currently enrolled 5 days a week in Doggy Day Care and does extremely well with his doggy friends and trainers. It is preferred that interested owners currently own a dog as he prefers friends at all times. NO CRATING IS REQUIRED OR NECESSARY.

Please contact Michael at 973.600.5618 for more information and to schedule an interview and meet Tyson. I can assure you, you will never have another friend like him!

[At least he had the heart to save this puppy from being killed and have treated him with the love and care he deserves…

He is responsible enough to decide to find him a new home rather than have him bounce around in at a boarding shelter…]
