Hoboken Weather Watch 6/16/2008

6/16/2008:

The fierce rains that flooded much of Hoboken on Saturday came with little warning, as “summer storms” often sprout quickly and without accurate predictions of where, and how much.

Today, weather forecasters are placing our area under “moderate” severe storm threat (which with our luck might mean “none at all”).

Here’s a visual of the northeast, plus an hourly forecast prediction (as of 11am today). No watches or warnings have been issued at this time.

Please note that this isn’t a guarantee that rain will come as stated below, and you should use your own judgment (i.e., look out the window, etc.) if you plan on traveling or being outdoors.
