Going to the event? Might as well write your check to Team Roberts 2009.

In 2000, the Hoboken Regular Democratic Organization gave $3650 to the Gore/Lieberman campaign.

In 2000-1, the HRDO gave $220,000 to Anthony Russo and his non-partisan slates.

In 2004, the Hoboken Democratic Party gave $500 to the Kerry/Edwards campaign.

From 2001 through 2007, the HDP gave $590,000 to Dave Roberts and his non-partisan slates.

Democratic organization? Ha!

Glancing at the headline, I thought that the HDP was throwing a party for developers. (HDP 1st Annual Party - Builder Awards.) I rolled my eye and thought, it was just a matter of time. I was releaved to find out that I had misread the headline. Who says syntax doesn't matter?
