Bad parking in Hoboken

Bad parking in Hoboken: On purpose or just clueless?

We’ve all seen bad parking jobs in Hoboken.

Some folks can’t double park (far from the curb), or park too close making it impossible to leave without bumping another car.

But what about people who appear to take up two parking spots?

Do nasty notes work on badly parked cars?

I’ve seen my fair share of these notes left to what are presumed to be parking assholes.

Often times the parking arrangement changes – and what was first a normal parking job, may turn out appearing that the person parking like a douche.

But in the pictures from 4th & Madison sent in by a Hoboken411 reader – the driver left a lot of room behind them (which is a driveway), and not big enough for a car.

  • Maybe a motorcycle was parked there?
  • Was the driver just a clueless dope?
  • Or were they really a “parking cunt” like the note said, trying to prevent their precious Suzuki economy car from getting scratched?

Get a garage is what we say!

1. There are very few more offensive words than c**t.. what does a c**t even park like? If referring to the female body part that’s some very anti-feminist BS right there.

2. This is a block with a nail salon, a hair salon, a restaurant, and a church. There’s a good chance this was a visitor to our neighborhood. This is obviously NOT the ideal parking job, but how would you feel if your grandmother came back to her car and saw this note? I would be horrified.

There is really no need for that type of language/ name calling. It’s not nice, and you have NO idea what other people are going through. Lay off.

“There’s a good chance this was a visitor to our neighborhood”

Maybe, but i know which way id bet. Besides the car has a resident sticker.

Still. There is something to be said for human compassion. I don’t ever park with the intention of being inconsiderate, but hey – no one is perfect all the time! I think most people have executed a questionable parking job at some point in their lives. I am definitely giving this person the benefit of the doubt here but what goes around comes around. Maybe this person was having a really bad day and this note made it that much worse. Like I said, earlier, you never know what other people are going through. Kindness is ALWAYS the answer, it doesn’t matter what the question is.

So you’re inclined to give people a pass on bad behavior because maybe that person has something going on in their life which prevents conscientiousness?

I’m of the opinion that most people have things going on in their lives, some of it really bad. Yet they are able to be functioning adults about it and not fall back on excuses.

I’ll feel bad for anyone going through tough times esp if it’s through no fault of their own. Still I expect people to conduct themselves properly – unless their malady is incompetence or lack of conscientiousness, which is what this article is about in the first place.

I’ll go further to say this is what separates functional societies from those which can’t get their act together.

Hey Nancy you must have been the “fucking cunt” who parked like this! Sticks and stones my break bones but names will never hurt! Grandma will get over it and maybe Grandma shouldn’t be driving anymore. If you weren’t a “c$&t” you would drive your grandma to these places! Thank Hoboken Parking Authority

It would be my pleasure to drive my grandmothers around if they were still alive, dipshit. That’s definitely not my car. You need to:
1. resolve your anger issues
2. get laid

HAHAHA! You Dumb Bitch! You said Kindness is always the answer and you reply by calling me a dipshit! 2. “get laid” you are offering to sleep with me, I wouldn’t sleep with you because you are probably one of those “fucking cunts” from Tinder that uber to random addresses. You resolved my anger issues by being a JOKE!
Thanks

KINDNESS IS THE ANSWER UNLESS SOMEONE IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER JACKASS LIKE YOU. Karma is a bitch and you are destined for hell my friend.

I am not offering to sleep with you, and anyone who can read/comprehend English knows that.

Your anger issues are clearly not even close to being resolved. Get some help.

I hope I never meet you or anyone like you in my lifetime. I feel really sorry for your friends and family, if you have any.

PS, I would rather be a “f*ng c” from tinder than someone who clearly tortures pets and small children. Luckily for me I’m not a “f*ing c” from tinder and my boyfriend is 6’5″ with a dick 9 inches longer than yours. Maybe that’s why I’m so kind and you’re such an asshole.

BYE!!

I don’t think it can be assumed this person parked like a “cunt”. As you mentioned, there could have been a motorcycle parked behind him. Unless the person saw this car parking purposely or carelessly, then this person is out of line. I know it’s common to have someone park like that to save a spot for someone else. When the other person comes home, they move their car to make room for two cars. And that sucks and is very cunty.
