Why suspend alternate side parking?
Why suspend alternate side parking after big blizzards?
Do you think it’s stupid that the city suspends alternate side parking for days following a major storm?
Didn’t they used to move the cars (via tow truck) and plow the roads (and move the cars back?)
Anyway, Hoboken resident Claudia thinks it’s not only stupid, but dangerous:
It’s beyond dangerous for people and cars.
The longer the snow sits on the street the worse off we all are. Who is this benefiting? Wouldn’t everyone be better off if our streets were clear??
I tried calling the parking utility today and could not get an answer.
I know some have joked about snow being on the street until March but I’m not laughing because after 4 winters here I know it’s the truth.
