Our Lady of Grace Church Festival

“The Festival will be held on the church property as well as in Church Square Park on Willow Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The OLG Funfest will have activities for all ages this year. Children will enjoy rides and games including a moon bounce, arts & crafts, a petting zoo, face painting, a puppeteer and balloons. Food vendors with hot dogs, hamburgers, gyros and other Festival food will be available. Non-food vendors, music and games of chance will also be on display. A biergarten has also been added to the OLG Funfest. Beer and wine will be served from 2 – 7 p.m. between the church and the rectory.

Our Lady of Grace is excited about the new activities and fun we’ve added to this year’s Funfest,” said Father Alex Santora, pastor at Our Lady of Grace Church. “We encourage all Hoboken residents and beyond to join us on this special day.”

The OLG Funfest Committee is also looking for volunteers. Please visit www.olghoboken.com or call 201-659-0369 between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. if you are interested in helping.”

The religion I can live without, but nothing beats the Catholic cake at a church bake sale. I’ll be looking for the blue-haired ladies at the wooden folding tables.

Anti fake grass, anti no dogs alllowed restrictions, anti hypocrispy (that runs rampant in this town.) That is the story. Nothing for or against OLG.

I do think that it would be worth their while to advertise that they have a food pantry that accepts donations at times when the grocery stores are giving away turkeys, hams, ect.
