The red lights are actually at the base of the spire, go figure.

it’s not actually a “spire”…the plans call it a “flagpole” but i don’t know if there are any plans to actually fly a flag from this flagpole. and it would seem that had this “flagpole” not been installed the tower would not need a flashing red light.
