Why? Hoboken paints on wet roads

The whole street markings debacle in Hoboken is a shit show for sure. Inconsistent patterns, dangerous and costly bollards, and more.

And the other day, I noticed them painting on wet roads. That didn’t seem to make much sense, as the paint will likely just chip away and have to be re-striped sooner.

But this comes as no surprise in Hoboken.

i was told by a city official that they did not know the bollards were part of the contract…utter incompetence!!
