4th Ward Progress

Occhipinti represents Hoboken’s 4th Ward

In case you 4th Ward Residents didn’t get the latest mailer from incumbent Tim Occhipinti – click these two to read more. And see a video of his achievements below.

Definitely seems like a local politician who is grounded and in-touch with his constituents – which is rare these days.

Occhipinti talks about moving 4th Ward “forward”

Yesterday, we opined about how we think almost all modern political debates are crap. And the best way to gauge the potential capabilities of the candidates running to “represent” you – is to get to know them in person.

While that’s next to impossible with some of the “higher level” politicians – it certainly is easily doable in Hoboken. You just have to make the time, and put in some effort.

4th Ward incumbent Tim Occhipinti at least took some steps to shorten the gap between him and his constituents by releasing a short video about the neighborhood, and what he has and will accomplish. No fancy video editing or special effects. Just him talking to you, basically.

You can read more at his website – timocchipinti.com – and try to reach out to him if you’d like to learn more before the election on November 3rd.

Oh, and as a reminder – the “downtown debate” (1st, 3rd and 4th Wards) is tonight at 7pm over at the Multi-service center at 2nd & Grand Streets.

I like Tim. The least politician-like out of the bunch.
