OMG! People still read real books in Hoboken, NJ
Was snapping some random photos recently – and in the photo below is what one could (quite reasonably) assume – “just another person addicted to their smartphone.” But that was not the case!
As we strolled along the waterfront, I passed by this girl – and noticed she was reading an actual (paper) book!
I said to her “Wow, you’re reading a real book! I haven’t seen that in ages!”
She responded saying that she too, notices the complete takeover by portable technology – and would rather spend her time reading the printed word the old-fashioned way.
There you go. At least one “traditionalist” in Hoboken. Refreshing to say the least!
