Hoboken Photo Leftovers: “Paving!”
Hoboken photo remains of the week: August 1, 2015
In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:
- All photos: This week is dedicated to the “milling and paving” that’s been taking place in various spots in town.
Well, it actually feels like “every turn you make” is a “road work” sign, or some other kind of detour. Holy crap!
And what brains do we have at city hall anyway? Why are only half of some roads getting resurfaced?
I’m sure they’ll come up with some “justification” as to why – but it is completely at the expense of headaches for residents and visitors. Because the other half will also have to get paved (eventually), further clogging streets and starving businesses ONE MORE TIME! Why get rammed twice?
Why bring all this equipment again, and inconvenience everyone more than you need to? This is why you don’t hire photographers to do a manly job that requires logic and common sense.
More on this later! Enjoy your summer heat!
Staying in town, or finding some place “cooler” this weekend?

About Hoboken Photo Leftovers
These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.
They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.
At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.
Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
