Just “Keep Clam” and call a maid
Sending out quick emails or SMS messages – no one expects you to get it right 100% of the time. Even here, we make a mistake or three from time to time just due to sheer volume (harder to spot errors when you write in HTML!)
But when you produce fliers to attract attention to your business – wouldn’t you be at least a little careful?
Take “Jennifer” here, whose sole job was to promote her “cleaning” services. She writes “Keep clam and call Jennifer for a cleaning.”
Look at all the missed opportunities to catch that blatant error!
- Typing it on your computer.
- Printing it out.
- Then stuffing it into that plastic sleeve.
- Stapling it to the pole.
She still missed it? Meh, perhaps she’s dyslexic…
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
