Spring 2015 Hoboken Arts & Music Festival
Spring 2015 Hoboken Arts & Music Festival: Sunday, May 3rd
The first of two annual Hoboken Arts & Music Festivals in 2015 takes place on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Streets this Sunday, May 3rd.
Bring your strollers, large dogs and inattentive phone-dabbling friends to wander around the streets from 11am to 6pm to see hundreds of (mostly) out-of-town vendors selling food, artwork, and myriad of other cute things you can exchange monetary units for. Then, you can feed your ego by digitally “sharing” photos with “friends.”
Three music stages also set up. The main stage is south of the CVS downtown, a kiddie stage at 3rd Street, and a secondary stage at the north end of the festival between 6th and 7th Streets.
Hopefully for festival vendors, the turnout will be good. If the weather is bad, it’ll be a giant bust.
This is a rain or shine event.
Some of this year’s featured musical acts include:
- Headlining: Peter Wolf (Who you don’t know unless you knew the band he was in)
- Anthony D’Amato
- Jeremy Beck
- Maddy Novak, and a few other performers.
