Hoboken Photo Leftovers for April 18th
Hoboken photo remains of the week: April 18, 2015
Don’t you get the “fuzzy feeling” once the weather “breaks” and the outdoors calls your name? We love it!
In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:
- Photos 1-4: Interesting sequence of events. Because of the “road closures,” traffic had to be diverted to the east side of Washington Street. The net result? A frickin’ tractor trailer smashed a tree! Environmentalists galore had mental breakdowns!
- Photo 5: Work with renovation at the old Hoboken Paint & Hardware. Will it be Athleta or something else?
- Photo 6: The old Napa Auto Parts lot is a cookie cutter condo under construction. “You gotta pay through the nose to be close to NYC and a vibrant night life!”
- Photos 7: And an even more bland cookie-cutter condo going up at 1st & Adams. At least it’s a bit better than it was before. 3 to 1 odds it’ll be the scene of some police call during some future “St. Paddy’s Day” event.
We’re going to explore NJ a bit this weekend. What are your ambitious plans? Laying low? Getting drunk? Hooking up?
About Hoboken Photo Leftovers
These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.
They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.
At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.
Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
