Trashing Sinatra Park

Trashing Sinatra Park for the kids! (on taxpayer dime!)

Well, here’s an interesting look at how your property tax dollars are being spent: Snow removal over at the Frank Sinatra Park soccer field.

The city botched snow plowing all winter long, yet “mayor” don Zimmer succumbs to angry soccer moms because “practices were already scheduled to have started, and Isabella and Connor are throwing a fit!”

Additionally – this whole thing appears to be not well thought-out. A metal snow bucket on already sub-standard artificial turf? For this type of surface, a rubber plow blade is recommended. Expect a hefty “line-item expenditure” to pop-up at the city council before the end of the summer, as the soccer field will have potholes that need repair as well!

Chow and other kolk-aid drinkers prefer favoritism to essential services. Who wouldn’t? They pay less and consume more of community resources and are held less accountable than any other group in the community. Chow would like to think that he belongs to some select group. He can not comprehend that home owners and landlords could support a democratic process. They would like to think that Irish are drunks, Latins are lazy and Italians are hot heads, and family only refers to dual wage owners who are parents of advanced age. And they certainly don’t want any diversity in their community.

I’m sure Chow would be happy if anyone who isn’t living in an over priced over taxed apartment or home would move out of town so that he/she isn’t constantly reminded of the fsct that this town just isn’t worth what he/she is paying to live in this dump.
The fact is that the cleanup at Sinatra Park is just another reminder of the incompetence of the Municipal Director of Soccer and Nothing Else. The streets are a mess, the parks are a disgrace, the new park uptown had no heat installed in the bathrooms so now there is no plumbing, the pavers in Stevens Park were destroyed during “cleanup, and garbage is strewn all over town. Give it up, Chow, your Mayor and the clowns surrounding her are a disgrace.

Chow is totally out to lunch. This article has noting to do with rent control. Perhaps some inference to dose of reality is that he knows that the rent control in the town has also been manipulated by politics as evedenced by repeated challenges to the vote. He would like to think himself somewhat better than others but you are right Showme, he is just one of the clowns, sheeple etc. He furthermore seems to assert that anyone who supports rent control must be a renter. Why live here if you think you live in a dump? Unclear why you stay. Drive around a little, every road in NJ and NYC is trashed because of the harsh weather and rough winter. Potholes occur every year. I feel sad that you hate where you live.

Yes rent control should end and they should be forced out if they can’t afford to stay. Your point is what? Maybe that rent control apartment needs to become market rate and give you a dose of reality.
What pink elephant says CHOW! I think we know who Chow protects and voted for.
This is great new. I had no problems parking this winter and think the city did just as well as any other municipality. My kids are ready to play soccer.
