Lou Carbone Paintings at Hoboken Historical Museum
Famous Hoboken Artist Lou Carbone has an exhibit that’s been running over at the Hoboken Historical Museum (13th & Hudson) since late last month. And I’ve walked past this sign countless times… and each time something stuck in my head – but I just couldn’t pinpoint it.
Then I got it.
Not sure if he meant it on purpose – but if I had to entitle this painting it would be “The theft of Hoboken boxes!” Either sheer brilliance, or very odd coincidence!
You have until December 23rd to check it out (upper gallery).
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
