Family Fun Nights 2008

6/28/2008 Bump:

After I was done filming the 1907 Yankee Ferry, I stopped by the Family Fun Night to see what the commotion was.

I’ve never seen it this crowded! It was a Kiddie-Woodstock for sure! Has anyone else noticed how busy it’s become?

Anyway, they’re off this week, and will be back on July 8th with The Fuzzy Lemons (see remaining schedule below).
LOL reading through these posts. I think a lot of these summer concerts are underwritten by sponsors, like Applied Housing for the Family Fun Nights, no? I know that’s how it works at the Church Square Concerts… a good friend of mine plays there nearly every year. The band is paid a nominal amount and no, there isn’t some city middle man collecting a hefty fee off the backs of taxpayers. I’m as upset and disappointed with administration and City Council as anyone on this budget fiasco, but not everything is broken and corrupt.

On a completely unrelated matter does anyone know if you can change your password to log in? I’d like to change it to something I can actually remember.
Change your password to “Strand Tramp.” You can be sure he’ll be right there when you need a reminder, hurling +3 vorpal balls of flaming troll dung at whatever moves.

Every Tuesday, between uptown Kings and the riverfront, just behind the Roman arches at the Historical museum.

“Curtain” goes up right around 7 p.m.

Sweet Jeezus Mother of Christ. You Troll Animals can’t even leave the little kids alone? Just go get drunk in a bar and pick a fight with the bouncer, OK? Leave the kids alone. Freaks.
