East View Photography in Hoboken
Everyone and their brother is a photographer these days, thanks to “smart phones.” And everyone and their brother is also now a “stylistic photographer” thanks to effortless “apps” such as Instagram and what have you.
But all the filters in the world won’t automatically make you a GOOD photographer. That involves some real skill such as framing, focusing and other creative traits just not possible using those programs. Luckily, there is still an industry for quality photographers like Hoboken’s Ian Wilson out of East View Photography.
Here’s a shot of a Hoboken park bench uptown along with the iconic Empire State Building.
You can check out his other work on at instagram.com/eastviewphotog.
Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.
We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
