Hoboken Photo Leftovers June 14 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: {#PEOPLESCHOICE} Winner! Forgot to congratulate Freeholder Anthony Romano on his crushing re-election earlier this month! Looks like the people decided!
  • Photo 2: {#SOON} Progress over at Maxwell’s Tavern. The blue and white exterior is a bit “loud” for the neighborhood, but at least it isn’t “punk rock noise.”
  • Photo 3: {#SLOW} McLoone’s Pier House hoped to be open by Spring. No chance. Lucky if it’s this Summer!
  • Photo 4: {#EYERELIEF} The ugly yellow Hertz building is now white. Not sure if it’s permanent – or “primer.”
  • Photo 5: {#FAREWELL} Before Kure Pilates took over the space, K.C. Kids painted a “thank you and see you in hell” message on their window. How nice.

Lucky us! Another splendid weekend ahead! Hip Hip Hooray!

About Hoboken Photo Leftovers

Hoboken Photo Leftovers is part of the Hoboken411 Photo of the Day series.

These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.

They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.

At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.

Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
