Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day – May 23, 2014
Continuing the “HPU Hypocrisy of the Day” category, here’s a picture of a a private vehicle with an “Official City Business” placard on the dashboard.
Hmm. Parking illegally in the yellow and too close to the crosswalk is considered “legal” whey you’re on official city business? So working for Hoboken (regardless of the capacity), enables you to break the laws that would normally apply to property-taxpaying citizens – who pay the salaries of each and every city employee?
You know who the “enablers” are? You! You pay them each quarter. Then they steal even more from you. And laugh in your face as they blatantly get away with breaking the same laws in which they reap millions annually “enforcing.” Talk about an “abusive” relationship that is. Haha!
Well, with the city thinning out this weekend, I guess there will be plenty of “regular” parking spots for all…
Created out of need – this section features the blatant hypocrisy in the Hoboken city government. Get this – Parking “laws” were created under the guise that it is either for “safety of residents, drivers and pedestrians,” or to “make parking more fair for law abiding citizens.”
The city, however – VIOLATES those very same laws. The bottom line is THEY DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT SAFETY. They just want your MONEY.
You frustrated with the hypocrisy? Caught them on film? Simply email Hoboken411@gmail.com with your photo, location and sorry story!
