Hoboken Photo Leftovers May 3 2014

In the Hoboken Photo Leftovers gallery below:

  • Photo 1: {#ASSBACKWARDS} The city ball-busted the owners of the “downtown steakhouse” so bad – they were going to ROB him of $100k per year because he “colored outside the lines” like 6 inches. He said “fuck you city” and made his building 6 inches shorter. (Impressive odds that they spit in the Mayor’s cream of spinach if she eats there…)
  • Photo 2: {#NOTHINGSACRED} You have to LOCK your $49 miniature camping hibachi grill to the fence in Hoboken. Because someone always wants stuff for free.
  • Photo 3: {#HEADACHE} Infrastructure work threw a wrench in ordinary life on Washington St. last week – including a gas main break.
  • Photo 4: {#HOBOKENHATESBIKES} Forgot to mention this awhile back – but the city WANTS your bikes to get stolen, by removing a great place to lock them up near Elysian Park. What kind of mentally deranged control freaks do we have at city hall?
  • Photo 5: {#CLOSURE} A sad conclusion to the case of Missing Andrew Jarzyk, as his body was recovered from the Hudson River last week.

Any great weekend plans? We’re stir-crazy from the rainy week we had!

About Hoboken Photo Leftovers

Hoboken Photo Leftovers is part of the Hoboken411 Photo of the Day series.

These are photos that didn’t necessarily warrant an individual posting on Hoboken411.

They may have been related to other stories – or completely independent. These photographs are remnants of our travels in the past week. But equally important in maintaining an historical record of “life as we know it” in the Mile Square City.

At the same time, these photographs may also mirror the unique personal opinion of the publisher of Hoboken411.com.

Regardless, the pictures add to the “virtual encyclopedia” that this site now represents. Thank you for your readership!
