Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day – April 30, 2014

Continuing the “HPU Hypocrisy of the Day” category, here’s a perfect example and lesson:

Every single solitary day – the HPU (“Hoboken Pickpocketing Underworld”) parks illegally – in the red curb zones near or around City Hall. How can anyone with a decent soul even do that? How can they essentially ROB others of hard-earned money who are desperately trying to complete errands or pick up food after a long day at work?

I’ll tell you how. “Power” corrupts everyone. From the POTUS all the way down to “class president” of the 4th grade. And these employees, maybe while they start out with good intentions, pretty much always “cross over to the dark side.” It happens quite swiftly. Heck, they even try to bamboozle local shop owners for free things. And one of the classical symptoms of this egotistical power surge is the “Hey, I’m above the law” mentality (probably due to the brainwashing that happens at city hall).

To repeat for those with super-short attention spans: The red curb zones are for the SAFETY OF DRIVERS AND PEDESTRIANS. Because this money van vehicle has letters that spell “HPU” on the side does NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT IT IS THE EXACT SAME HAZARD, “city official” or not.

There is simply NO EXCUSE to compromise the safety of the community.

“I’m a lazy sloth” does NOT COUNT.

Why you don’t fight back against these pompous hypocrites is pathetic.

About Hoboken HPU Hypocrisy of the Day
The HPU Hypocrisy of the Day is a photo feature on Hoboken411.com.

Created out of need – this section features the blatant hypocrisy in the Hoboken city government. Get this – Parking “laws” were created under the guise that it is either for “safety of residents, drivers and pedestrians,” or to “make parking more fair for law abiding citizens.”

The city, however – VIOLATES those very same laws. The bottom line is THEY DON’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT SAFETY. They just want your MONEY.

You frustrated with the hypocrisy? Caught them on film? Simply email Hoboken411@gmail.com with your photo, location and sorry story!
