Tough location for this type of shop…..A small coffee shop might do well in this spot as the location has a bus stop right on the corner so offering buttered rolls, newspapers, tea, coffee newspapers and such would be ideal for this area as it draws quite a large crowd in the morning hours.

I don’t remember what was in that location before Volonte. Do you by any chance remember? or anyone else remember?

Most newspapers are doomed, but they get people in for larger ticket items: cig’s candy, 1000 lottery tickets ordered one at a time by the guy in front of me, etc. No money to speak of in newspapers for the retailer. Has anyone noticed the incredible shrinking Daily News ala J. Journal?

It’s to bad they didn’t succeed. The owner is a nice person. They had great stuff at reasonable prices. I bought a dress there a few months back. I’m going to miss that store.

It looks like Volante is doomed as there is a sign on the door that reads “for rent”

Out of curiosity, what makes you bring your dog into an apparel store? I don’t understand this “Taking my dog to shop” thing.
