1/16/2008:
Here’s a quick reader mail segment to settle a bet for someone. I don’t recall seeing this game anywhere recently in Hoboken, do any bars have it currently? What about nearby?
If all else fails, I suggest that the reader go to www.njbubblehockey.org and ask them!
“Hey 411,
Great web site! Ran into you on the street the other day. Next time I’ll get you a beer, I know you’re not drinking this month.
I have a question for you. I’m looking for a local place that has “bubble hockey” chexx game. I need to settle a bet with a friend and kick his ass. Hopefully the establishment serves beer.”

Parker House has always had one as far back as I can recall.
Knock Hockey rules, I remember cutting replacement sticks from scrap plywood because we would always smash them, and each others knuckles.

dude, just buy one. this guy sells the stiga model, which was cool because one of the winger can skate behind the goal to get the puck. i liked Bobby Hull hockey because it was a little bigger and had the hands free center ice face off thing, and it was pretty tough too, but the stiga is very cool also. this company is in PA, you can probably have it overnighted to Hoboken. game on!

I remember having something like that as a kid. I remember the rods easily bending and my index and thumb fingers becoming sore.

I think the Cage has a weekly Stanly Cup bubble hockey tournament, you should check it out.
